Currently named and found under Market > Insights in the Crypto.com app, this feature is designed to empower users with real-time market insights in the rapidly changing cryptocurrency market.

To meet this need, Crypto.com introduced the App Signals feature, a powerful tool that provides users with real-time market insights directly within the app.

This feature empowers users to make better trading decisions by alerting them to key market movements, ensuring they stay ahead in the fast-paced world of crypto trading.

Challenge​

In the volatile world of cryptocurrency, users often struggle to stay informed about significant market changes in real-time. On top of that, they need a solution that can cut through the noise and deliver only the most relevant insights.

Traditional methods of tracking market data—such as manual monitoring or relying on delayed notifications—are insufficient for users who need to make timely decisions to maximize profits or minimize losses.

The challenge was to create a seamless, integrated solution that could deliver real-time,

actionable insights directly to users within the

crypto.com app, without overwhelming them

with excessive or irrelevant information.

Approach

To develop Signals, we adopted a data-driven approach focused on delivering factual, actionable insights. Understanding the emotional nature of investment, especially in the volatile cryptocurrency market, our primary challenge was to ensure that the signals were presented in a way that minimized emotional bias and helped users make rational, informed decisions.

Data-Driven Insights:

We leveraged advanced data analytics to generate signals based solely on objective market data, such as price movements, volume changes, and trend patterns. This ensured that the alerts were grounded in factual information, reducing the potential for emotional decision-making.

Neutral Presentation:

Collaborated with content team to craft signals that communicated critical information in a neutral, straightforward manner. The language and tone were carefully curated to avoid sensationalism, ensuring that users received clear, unemotional insights.

As part of the innovation lab, we launch products and discontinue them if they don’t meet success metrics, so traditional research methodologies were not used; instead, our approach was data-driven, with detailed data informing the roadmap of this product.
